I travel around the country (and sometimes the world) with my vintage typewriter. Take a seat, tell me a few words, or show me a picture about the idea you want immortalized with ink on paper. I might ask a follow-up question, then I’ll write you a poem on the spot.

Take it home. Hang it on the fridge, in a frame, or tag it on Insta. Whatever you do, it’s permanent and won’t be altered by the algorithm. But…not as permanent as a tattoo.

How did you get started with typewriter poetry?

I’ve spent most of my adult life working in content marketing for small tech organizations. I became adept at crafting corporate stories that resonated with finicky audiences — quickly. Along the way, I realized my superpower was understanding what people wanted to communicate, even when they couldn’t articulate the specifics. That’s an easy transition to writing poetry and micro stories for people who have a vision they can’t quite put into words.

What is typewriter poetry?

It’s the antithesis of AI. Spontaneous words on paper based on human connection and momentary magic.
